Hawthorne trees at dusk.

This is one of the panels on the quilt I got from my Grandmother. I love this quilt. It makes me happy! I love all the vintage fabrics in it. Anyone know what the pattern is called?

44/365

Tea and scones in Carlisle. Glenn is trying not to spill too many on Jacob's head!

(taken 24 May)

43/365

My 'office'. Glenn has the garage which leaves me to grade papers and whatnot on the bed. Problem is, all I want to do is sleep! Good thing I'm finally done with all the marking - I'm offcially finished with my teaching jobs here.

Takin' a snooze on the Daddy sofa.

(taken 22 May)

41/365

Laundry. It's neverending.

(taken 21 May but could have been taken any day!)

40/365

Here's Glenn chasing after Sammy who is making a bee-line for the cows. This is a lovely little area to walk near our house.

39/365

A bath tonight by the fire. He hated it last time but now really seemed to like it!

38/365

Pajama Houdini.

If we aren't careful, Sammy can completely strip off - day or night. Fortunately, night time disrobing is rare... but we couldn't resist taking this photo (it is dark, the camera flash is just very bright). We thought we'd save this to show to his first girlfriend!

37/365

Twilight from the back garden.

36/365

Another twofer today!

Jake had a right meltdown this evening when I changed his diaper. Granny says he likes to have his hands and arms stroked. Apparently Laddie agrees, he gave Jake a thorough licking and Jake loved it!

And below: Why worry about a toddler bed when a dog bed will do just fine?!

Our favorite onesie. Sammy wore it when he was 8 months old. Jake is 9 weeks!

Even the laundry is cuter.

32/365

This one caused us a lot of worry today. We thought Miss Bramble got outside this morning. We spend literally hours searching for her. Turns out she was in the house all along!

31/365

It may have been Mother's Day, but it's always Sammy Day. Today he had strawberry ice cream at the garden centre.

30/365

Today I taught my father-in-law how to make curry. Glenn helped, too.

(taken 10 May)

29/365

Poor Laddie. He's on valium now because our cats stress him out!

I know, I know. Another twofer. But come on, can you resist the cute?

(taken 8 May)

*and on that note, I think I am now officially caught up!*

24/365

Playing with water in the garden is the BEST THING EVER!

(taken 4 May)

Still unpacking. The cats are so helpful. Not.

(taken 3 May)

Stopping on the way home to see the view.

My little monkey.

14/365

Today is a 'twofer'. I know it's not exactly kosher to do this, but I just couldn't decide which picture to post. The first is Glenn having a smoke outside a pub in Kirkby Stephen with a new friend. The second is the ceiling of the Pink Geranium Cafe where we had just had lunch.
